Reader's Theatre

Mrs. Wolhuter did an excellent reader's theatre with these eager readers before she left to graduate.  Check out their cute masks and narrator's cape!

Contraction Surgery

These little doctors came to the rescue!  They quickly and carefully operated on two words to create just one.

Creepy Crawlers

Students enjoyed studying worms in April.  Yes, I did say THE STUDENTS.  I bet you cannot find me in any of the pics:)

Spring has Sprung!

Catching up on  a few Spring pics.  Students had a lot to celebrate in April after testing.  We had a blast just relaxing in the sun, blowing bubbles, writing with chalk, and the most popular....face painting!

Welcome

We have a new addition to our classroom community.  Mrs. Elizabeth Wolhuter is a student teacher from Harding University.  She will graduate in May and begin her journey of changing young lives.  She has been with us a few weeks now and we are so excited to have her on board!

February Mystery Readers

Celebrating our Presidents
Thanks Mrs. Kittrell, Dimitri's mother for sharing
Abraham Lincoln's biography with the class.
We also loved the bracelets!

Check out our Ab Lincoln top hat.  It sure was yummy!

Emma is definitely proud of this project

Thanks Mrs. Hou, Michelle's mom,  for being
one of our February Mystery Readers!

Mrs. Hou read Duck for President and then helped students create
mini George Washingtons.

Students were excited to create our very
  first president, George Washington.
